Scope
This notice covers Visitors to the Career Site, Connecting Candidates (talent pool), Applying Candidates, Sourced/Referred Candidates, and References.
Categories of data
Visitors: device and technical usage data (incl. IP, browser, OS), site interaction metrics, and cookie data (per Cookie Policy).
Candidates: contact details; application materials (CV, cover letter, portfolios); interview notes and assessments; salary expectations; information from public professional profiles (e.g., LinkedIn); reference information.
Special category data: EDI characteristics and health/disability information (for adjustments). Processed only with explicit consent or where necessary for legal obligations.
References: contact details and information provided about the candidate.

- Public professional sources; employees/partners who refer you; your named referees.
Purposes & lawful bases
Operating and securing the Career Site; analytics - Legitimate interests.
Talent pool connections, vacancy updates - Consent.
Sourcing/referrals; reviewing applications; recruitment management - Legitimate interests.
Recording interviews; EDI monitoring - Consent.
Legal/ regulatory obligations - Legal obligation.
Pre-contract steps - Contractual necessity.
Recipients
Service providers (including TeamTailor), Audience Collective Group Agencies, cookie providers, authorities/courts (where required), and parties to corporate transactions.
International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, appropriate safeguards are used (UK adequacy, UK–US Data Bridge, IDTA/UK Addendum, SCCs).
Retention
- Security logs: up to 1 year.
- Applicants: generally, 6 months after decision; talent pool retained only with renewed consent.
- Connecting Candidates: retained while active.
- References: normally for up to 6 months.
- Legal claims: retained until fully resolved.
