Senior Social Media Executive
Role overview:
As Senior Social Media Executive, you have a sound knowledge of the social landscape, and know platforms like the back of your hand. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading on influencer management, reporting, content creation, content management, campaign management and more; supporting your Manager and Senior Manager on the day-to-day running of a social account portfolio.
You’ll be a quick learner and a great writer, who can quickly get to grips with clients across a range of industries. This role will be client-facing from day one, so you’ll also have the confidence and gravitas needed to liaise with client contacts with little oversight.
The main step up from an Executive role is taking active ownership of projects, making decisions, being more involved in commercials, and exclusively managing your own workload. Beyond this, you will also take on a much wider awareness of your clients’ bigger pictures – their objectives, market, brand and campaigns; always offering new ways to try and produce even more engaging content. You’ll have more day-to-day client contact, so being confident in regularly picking up the phone for one-on-one conversations is key.
This role is ideal for someone with experience working with fitness brands or a strong personal interest in fitness or wellness, as you'll be managing social media and influencer campaigns for clients within this space.
You'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the SMM in developing and executing social strategies for clients
- Producing creative social-first ideas and seeing them through to end result
- Taking an active lead role in shoot days from idea to reporting
- Writing compelling captions for your work, embodying the brand’s TOV
- Providing clear briefs to Creative teams for retainers and campaigns
- Fostering creativity with all team members through brainstorms
- As the team grows, overseeing Jr. Exec/Execs on all aspects of social operations, research and reports
Things we’re looking for:
- A passion for sport and fitness is essential – whether you’ve got previous experience in this field or have a strong interest out of work, it is crucial you can demonstrate an understanding and make recommendations around what’s right for these audiences
- A willingness to try new things – we want you if you’re curious and inquisitive
- Confidence – a big part of the role will be actively leading brainstorms and managing client relationships
- A track record of creating and capturing best-in-class content for clients
- Strong knowledge of our core platforms – TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
- Organisation – a self-starter who can multitask and manage multiple deadlines
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills both internally and externally
- Initiative to problem-solve and think on your feet
- Sound comprehension of social media data and analytics, and an eye for what ‘looks good on social’
- Impeccable attention-to-detail and excellent copywriting skills
- Confident use of on and off-platform social media tools (inc. advertising tools)
