Marketing Executive

This role is the perfect stepping stone into the agency world, whilst still working within an in-house team to generate awareness & leads for each of the agencies.

Purpose of the Role
The Marketing Executive will support the marketing of the agencies within Audience Collective by executing marketing campaigns, briefing the creation of content, and managing key marketing activities that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. The role requires a mix of tactical thinking, creativity, and executional excellence, ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with each of the agency’s objectives and positioning within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Campaign Coordination
• Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
• Work with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure all marketing materials and assets are developed on time and within budget.
• Support the development of integrated marketing plans for Audience Collective and its agencies.
• Demonstrating a knowledge of the individual agencies services to support campaign activation.
• Know the exact status of your assigned campaigns and following up on all detail to ensure everyone involved is kept informed of progress and any changes.
2. Content Creation & Management
• Write clear and concise briefs that deliver effective output every time for content including (but not limited to): mailers, organic and paid social requirements, SEO requirements, press releases/features and event collateral.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
• Upload and optimise thought leadership articles on agency websites, ensuring proper SEO implementation.
• Coordinate mailer fulfilment processes, ensuring timely delivery.
• Organise and support events, webinars, and networking sessions to enhance brand visibility and engagement, including leading up to and follow up activity.
• Proof reading material to present a professional and error free communication piece every time.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all marketing administration, including spend tracking and ensuring all work is successfully saved on the system for future referral.
3. Social Media & Digital Marketing
• Ensure each of the agency leads and experts provide required insights, client testimonials, thought leadership pieces & case studies that work to the marketing plan.
• Work closely with Ponderosa to execute organic LinkedIn monthly content plans for each of the agencies, ensuring consistency of look & feel and tone of voice.
• Ensure data is reported on monthly for both organic & paid social, and recommendations are captured to hit and exceed KPIs.
• Work closely with Rich to execute SEO campaigns for each of the agencies and ensure data is reported on monthly with recommendation to hit and exceed KPIs.
4. Internal Communications
• Build and develop relationships with our key stakeholders for each agency to encourage importance of marketing within the collective.
• Liaise with internal teams to promote marketing best practices across the agency network.
• Contribute to the continual review of our ways of working until we have a set formula that works and contributes to continual progress.
• Keep up to date with your assigned agency’s competitors to understand how we can outmanoeuvre the competition.
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Track and analyse agreed marketing KPIs, which will be bespoke for each agency.
• Provide weekly progress updates to the Marketing Manager and relevant stakeholders, flagging potential challenges.
• Use insights to suggest and implement improvements to marketing tactics.
Key Skills & Competencies
Essential
• Marketing Knowledge – Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and digital marketing tactics.
• Content & Copywriting – Ability to create and repurpose high-quality marketing content.
• Project Coordination – Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Attention to Detail – Strong proofreading and accuracy skills in all marketing materials.
• Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication for internal and external engagement.
• Data-Driven Mindset – Ability to track, analyse, and report on campaign performance.
• Commercial Awareness – Ability to get the best price without compromising on quality, and demonstrate the importance of tracking spend and keeping to budget.
Desirable
• Experience working in an in-house marketing team.
• Experience in building CRM’s in Hubspot.
• Ability to collate high quality contact lists from a target sector.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and web content optimisation.
• Experience using Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other digital marketing tools.
• Marketing qualification (CIM, degree in marketing, or equivalent).

Salary & Benefits
• Salary Range: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
• Hybrid working model (office & remote).

• Nine-day fortnight.
• 4% pension contribution (if you contribute 5%)
• 25 days holiday, plus 3 additional celebration days.
